JIM BOYLE - EXPERIENCE SYNOPSIS

Jim Boyle is an accomplished professional with more than 30 years of experience in the information technology and services industry. His experiences have spanned multiple markets including higher education, government, utilities, finance and manufacturing. He has a proven track record in building high performance teams, strategic and tactical planning, project management, P&L management, disaster recovery, service development and delivery. Mr. Boyle has broad experience in implementing technology-based solutions across many platforms including IBM, HP, Sun, Dell, Oracle, Microsoft, Unix and Linux. During his career, Mr. Boyle has maintained direct budget and P&L responsibility for organizations of up to US$100.0 million annually.


Most recently, he has focused on helping companies improve their performance and expanding their product and services offerings. Mr. Boyle’s proven organizational and leadership skills are devoted to overcoming internal and external obstacles that may impede success. His service development and delivery experience include managed services, outsourcing services, hosting services, consulting services and professional services. His major strengths include:

Mr. Boyle has developed strategies and directed their execution to meet their business goals and objectives. He utilizes cross functional collaboration in both the planning and execution phases of operational projects that promote ongoing consensus and ownership thereby ensuring successful outcomes. Throughout his career, Mr. Boyle has focused on managing change, whether it is technical, organizational or aspects of the business. He began his career as a programmer for a major insurance conglomerate where he developed not only his technical skills and understanding but also began developing his skills in problem resolution and operational planning/execution. He also developed a deep understanding of all the core technology infrastructure components having direct technical responsibility for the company’s Operating Systems, Networks, Data Bases and Transaction Processing systems. Eventually, he joined the outsourcing business of Sungard Higher Education (formerly SCT Corporation) where he became a planning and delivery specialist, helping clients manage organizational change and guiding them through major technology migrations. As a General Manager, he directed the company’s change in the delivery of outsourcing services from individual site delivery to a centrally managed model for core technology services across the Higher Education, Local Government, Utilities and Manufacturing customers. Since As Vice President, Mr. Boyle developed product and delivery strategies for services in Outsourcing, Consulting and Professional services. He also created a Hosted services offering targeted for Higher Education by partnering with SunGard Availability Service for facility and infrastructure services and augmenting them with specialized services from SunGard Higher Education. Throughout his career, Mr. Boyle developed approaches and processes that allow companies to define strategic directions, develop sound operational plans and execute those plans in successful manor.
 

Mr. Boyle resides with his family in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He received his education in Computer Science at Bucks County Community College and his education in Business Administration at the University of Maryland.
