DON GEORGE - EXPERIENCE SYNOPSIS

Don George is a professional leader with nearly 30 years experience in increasingly responsible positions. He has developed the unique ability appropriately linking strategy with technology change and organizational transition. During his career, Mr. George has maintained direct P&L responsibility for organizations of up to US$45.0million annually. He has extensive experience in establishing, delivering and expanding outsourcing relationships as both a supplier and a customer, benchmarking and performance measurements, service level enhancement and customer driven solutions.
Most recently, he has focused on supply chain dynamics from sourcing through end-customer relationships and Business Continuity initiatives. Mr. George’s proven leadership skills are devoted to enhancement of existing personnel and leveraging their intellectual capital. He has developed and deployed economic and benchmarking models that serve as a basis for determining client improvement opportunities and ROI for technology-based initiatives. Industry experiences include Consumer Products, Education, Financial Services, Government, Healthcare, Life Sciences/Pharmaceuticals, and Retail. Mr. George established Project Management Offices on behalf of clients where he directed development and complex implementation of new products and services, market positioning, production and systems that span organizational boundaries. He has successfully coached both individual executives and executive teams during extreme periods of change. Throughout his career, Mr. George has focused on the impacts of change. He began his journey as a programmer for a major insurance conglomerate where he honed not only his technical skills and understanding but also began his quest for outstanding project management skills. Eventually, he joined the outsourcing business of SCT Corporation (now Sungard Higher Education) where he became a turnaround specialist, improving and extending contract terms in numerous accounts that were previously at risk. Later, he directed the development of a uniquely qualified consulting organization, significantly outpacing financial targets. Mr. George also developed product and marketing strategies for services businesses that resulted in higher renewal rates and close ratios. While at Computer Sciences Corporation, he worked with the original and most successful business reengineering teams comprised of CSC Consulting (formerly Index Group and Partners) professionals seeking to leverage both supply and sales channels in behalf of client expansion and profitability. As President & CEO of Gloabalign LLC (now part of a regional CPA firm), he established a new consulting organization, directed the development of service objects, marketing collateral, sales, delivery and quality initiatives. Throughout his career, Mr. George developed models that help to analyzed not only the financial performance of a product/service, business unit or organization, but also quantified organizational skills, effectiveness, and ability. He founded Dynamic Synergies Group in 1992, and in 2005 re-launched it as a client focused, change management firm in Pennsylvania.


Mr. George resides with his family in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Board of Directors of several closely held companies, and is past President of the Board of the Delaware Valley Philharmonic Orchestra, Bucks County’s only professional symphony. He has published numerous articles, presented at major symposia, conferences and corporations throughout the world, and served as a professional witness in several cases. He is a Certified Professional Facilitator and Certified Project Manager. He holds a B.S. in Commerce from Rider University (magna cum laude) and has completed graduate and professional development courses at a number of internationally renowned Universities. He was adjunct faculty at Drexel University (Philadelphia PA) and has been a guest lecturer at Rutgers University (New Brunswick NJ) and Harvard Graduate School of Business (Cambridge MA).
